Chair Select from Horgenglarus

My 'Horgenglarus' family is already quite extensive. Today we can welcome another member: the 'Select'.

In essence, the 'Select' has the typical features of the Horgenglarus collection. But it is the small details that make this piece of seating furniture so special.

This chair brings Parisian ambiance into your home. Formerly designed for Zurich's Café Select on Limmatquai for the bohemians of the 1930s by architect Werner Max Moser, it is still a welcome guest today. And not only in the gastronomy.

With its curved, semi-circular backrest, the chair provides a sense of security, allows you to sit across and turn towards your neighbour. And one thing should be said at this point: the 'Select' is as comfortable as rarely any other wooden chair! Reading 50 pages of Kafka or half a dozen newspapers? No problem at all! Even Max Frisch and Friedrich Dürrenmatt have sat in this chair.
