Chair Classic from 'Horgenglarus

The most beautiful pub chair comes from very close by, more precisely from the foot of the Glärnisch in Glarus. The design dates back to 1918 and was created at 'Horgenglarus'. I was allowed to peek into the workshop of the oldest chair and table manufacturer in Switzerland.

By the way, the chair named Classic is available in black lacquered beech or - as my personal favourite - in natural beech. Now you can also order the 'Classic' in white or black lacquered beech.

The seat is made of moulded plywood, the seat frame, the feet and the back are made of steam bent solid wood.

A wonderful piece of Swiss history, a classic with potential and a lot of craftsmanship, just the way I like it.
