Shaker Chair F-Chair

The 'F-Chair' is a contemporary shaker chair based on the advantages of traditional craftsmanship. It continues the popular simplicity and honesty of the archetypal Shaker chair, but with modern comfort and a clean, geometric and minimalist look.

The Danish furniture designer Rasmus Bækkel Fex and the Danish label Brdr. Krüger have reinterpreted the design of the Shaker chair in close collaboration with the aim of openly exploring archetypes and materials.

The result is a modern ascetic tradition in which woodworking and woodturning are contrasted with a seat in industrial polyester fabric woven by hand to create a tailor-made geometric pattern. The seat changes character by reflecting ambient light, while the wooden backrest invites you to sit down and uses the chair for its simplest function and comfort.
