The traditional company of the Thonet brothers is world famous and still manufactures many chairs according to the old designs. Classics that have already delighted many generations and both today and in the future will still provide a lot of charm in your home and mine.
Today I have the 'N. 18' in my luggage: a stool made of solid beech bentwood, designed by the company in the second half of the nineteenth century. Together with the chair of the same name, it has always been one of the most used seating furniture in bistros around the world.
The curved element, which also enriches the central part of the backrest, gives comfort to the seat while defining its distinctive profile. The back and the rear legs are formed today, as yesterday, from a single piece of wood bent in steam.
The bar stool is available in different versions: here comes the elegant furniture with upholstered seat.
