Module C two-seater right sofa Soft Stone from Classicon

A sofa like a landscape - calm, powerful and inviting at the same time: with the Soft Stone Sofa, ClassiCon presents a modular sofa system that combines architecture and comfort in a unique way. Created by Portugal-based designer Gabriel Tan, it combines clear geometry with a surprisingly soft, organic feel - inspired by the staggered stone blocks in the Parque da Cidade in Porto and the sculptural power of Isamu Noguchi's work.Eleven asymmetrical modules come together to form individual configurations and open up a wide range of possibilities for rethinking spaces. The deliberately irregular composition does not follow a mirror image, but a flowing, natural logic - and makes each sofa an unmistakably unique piece. Sculptural form meets uncompromising comfort
Behind the monolithic appearance lies a highly developed upholstery structure that offers exceptional seating comfort: A sturdy body with classic Nosag springing forms the basis, with coordinated layers of different foams providing support and gentle sink-in. An elaborately quilted cover made of certified down and fine hollow profile fibers gives the sofa its characteristic softness and inviting volume. The cover deliberately emphasizes this effect: a fine drape breaks up the austerity of the form and lends the sofa a casual elegance. In close collaboration with the designer and Zimmer + Rohde, ClassiCon has selected a carefully curated range of upholstery fabrics. The Z+R fabric collection covers a spectrum from softly structured bouclés to finely shimmering chenilles and natural, durable fabrics. In addition, the entire ClassiCon fabric and leather collection - with textiles from Designers Guild, Rohi, Dedar and Kvadrat - is available at classicon.com/fabrics. Gabriel Tan - between cultures and materials Gabriel Tan's designs combine different cultural influences to create a unique design language. His work is characterized by a keen sense of balance, materiality and proportion - and the ability to harmonize opposites. With the Soft Stone sofa, he translates monumental, seemingly hard forms into a soft, homely experience. Individually plannable. Precisely manufactured.
Each Soft Stone sofa is individually configured and manufactured in Bavaria with the utmost precision craftsmanship. The modules can be flexibly combined and put together to create individual configurations that can be precisely tailored to the room in question. Removable and interchangeable covers also make it possible to redesign the appearance of the sofa at any time.
