Where light becomes sculpture
The Dusk table lamp and the Dawn floor lamp are far more than mere light sources - they are artistic expressions inspired by the wonders of the sky, from solar eclipses to planetary orbits, as well as by the striking geometry of brutalist architecture.
Her sculptural composition plays with the contrasts of light and shadow. Overlapping, circular screens create a rhythmic interplay of openness and shielding and bathe the room in atmospheric light.
The basis of this poetic interplay is a base made of raw oxidized aluminium - square, grounded and industrial. Its powerful presence harmonizes with the richly textured, almost concrete-like surface of the rounded shades.
The result is an impressive balance between form and function, in which light gains depth, structure and character.
