Yuh Table Lamp by Louis Poulsen

The Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi designed Yuh in 2017 for Louis Poulsen. Originally launched in black and white, the series has been expanded to include brass and marble versions. One of the lamp’s key features is its customizability. The lamp is flexible and takes up little space. It can be rotated, raised, and lowered, providing lighting and ambiance in the desired area. The shape of the lampshade is geometrically derived from the movement it makes on the stem. A minimalist design that ranges from a circular shape at the bottom to a linear opening at the top of the lampshade. The name “Yuh” is the phonetic spelling of “you”; the letters represent the sound produced when pronouncing “you.”
