Wall light 24 Karat by Ingo Maurer

Metal, four plates with gold leaf cast in acrylic glass. The wall light from the "Bleu 24 carats" series. With 250 cm long, transparent connection cable and pull switch on the socket. The panels are manufactured in Japan using a unique process in which very fine gold leaf is cast into acrylic by hand. Only short-wave blue light can penetrate between the gold layers, while yellow and gold light is reflected. This light effect is also achieved by using an LED bulb.
