The great and valuable lamps of 'Le Klint' are one of my favourite lamp series.
Since the 1940s, the luminaire manufacturer has been an outstanding ambassador for Danish design and arts and crafts and is not least known for its unique collection of handmade lampshades designed according to Japanese origami principles. By the way, 'Le Klint' is also a purveyor to the Danish royal family and has been manufacturing all its lamps with great care in Denmark since 1943.
This beautiful and practical lamp with black rods and brass details was designed by Aage Petersen in 1946.
The stand can be adjusted in height and varies from 113 to 158cm. The shapely lampshade can also be tilted, which makes the '349' particularly suitable as a reading lamp.
