Do you remember the sweet Tassilo from 'Beauty and the Beast'? I can't help but think of the cuddly talking cup when I take a closer look at the Sundowner pendant lamp.
The characteristic pendant lamp was designed by Jørn Utzon in 1948 and is characterized by its construction with the four lampshades and by how the shape is elegantly shown off by the light.
This design, with its rounded shape and lampshades pointing in opposite directions, predates Utzon's architectural masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House.
'Sundowner' is dynamically designed and shows a clear connection with the unique shell structure that has characterized Sydney Harbour for more than half a century.
