Nalum pendant light from Ingo Maurer

NALUM captures the dynamic movement of the waves and the reflection of light on the surface of the water in an extraordinary light object. Its centerpiece is a floating, wave-shaped glass tube that creates fascinating lines of light through a variety of reflections. The outer, linearly shaped glass tube houses the light source, which is attached with magnets and provides both upward uplight and downward downlight. Both light sources can be dimmed independently of each other, allowing individual lighting moods to be created. Nalum invites you to experiment with light and shadow: The handmade inner glass tube can be moved to create ever new light formations. As a playful detail, the enclosed surfer figures can be placed freely on the waves of the inner glass tube. The filigree cable suspension, which runs lengthwise through the luminaire, enhances the floating impression of the luminaire and enables precise light alignment. NALUM is particularly suitable for elongated tables, such as dining tables or conference tables, as well as for prestigious rooms where targeted and atmospheric lighting is required.
