panton designed the 'Panthella' in 1971. The organic shapes of this lamp are still very popular today. Panton's aim was to create a lamp in which the base and shade serve as a reflector.

In this version with rechargeable LED, the 'Panthella' can be recharged via a USB cable.

The beautifully shaped light source emits soft, diffuse light. The hemispherical shade reflects the light downwards and the material ensures that most of the light is diffused from the surface of the shade.
