The design for the table lamps Tangent by 'Woud' is the result of an experimental study with tubes, proportions and how they can be connected with each other.
A shapely, simple graphic and clear design in which two steel pipes meet at their tangential intersection. The electrical system is hidden in the small tube, while the large tube serves as a lamppream screen.
On the upper side of the inner metal tube there is a screen made of opal glass which covers the piston and produces a soft light when switched on and an optical effect of a cylinder when switched off.
Three simple Nordic pastel shades to choose from.
