The traditional Swiss manufacturer Röthlisberger celebrates a colourful anniversary. Of course, Mooris will be excited and happy to be with his dear friends from Bern. Normally, big anniversaries are celebrated with champagne and candles - or, as 'Röthisberger' shows us today, with classics.
The Mondrian wardrobe was the first model to be added to the collection in 1977, laying the foundation for the success story of 'Röhtlisberger'. Forty years of perfection later there is now a new production of the 'Mondrian', which I would like to show you as one of the first.
Inspired by the famous colour compositions of Piet Mondrian, the designer Koni Ochsner created the cabinet as functional furniture for individualists. Thus the colours and proportions of the cabinet were modelled on the function.
In the case of 'Object 2', this means in concrete terms the design for an office or work piece of furniture. Behind the large, red colored surface is a foldable plate, which can be used as a base for a short note, just like a secretary, and at the same time can also be used to store writing utensils and small office items. The smaller areas below are ideal for storing folders and documents.
The production and the elaborate processing involve a lot of manual work. The noble appearance is the result of this precision in combination with the high gloss of the surface.
Beside this model you will also find the 'Object 1', which is perfect for the living area.
