The year is so young and already has a huge surprise in store: British-Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi not only makes cookbooks, but also tableware. The plates and bowls he has designed for 'Serax' immediately make me dream of beautiful Tel Aviv and the heavenly food that awaits on every corner there.
With the serving plate, I imagine myself in a cozy street café in the hip city.
With an abundance of colors, vegetable prints and positive vibes, the brand new Feast collection reflects everything that its creator Yotam Ottolenghi stands for. For this project, the chef has teamed up with Italian artist Ivo Bisignano. 'Ivo is both a good friend and a kindred spirit for the creative process of all Ottolenghi graphics,' says Yotam Ottolenghi.
What makes the chef so charming? It's the typical Ottolenghi feeling of 'unashamed nonchalance'.
'This collection is a collaboration fueled by camaraderie and the sharing of lovingly prepared food around a beautifully set table.'
I hope you enjoy this meaningful series as much as I do.
