Both cords require only minimal care. Clean them with a vacuum cleaner (soft brush) or a damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid oil, chemicals and strong cleaning agents. Direct sunlight can fade polyurethane cords. Clothing that is not colorfast (e.g. jeans) can discolor light-colored cords. Paper cords may show irregularities, overlaps or small knots - this is completely natural. Paper cords are treated with wax for protection. In case of soiling: Dab the area carefully with a well-wrung cloth; if necessary, use only neutral, colorless soap.
