Pendant light VL45 Radiohus

The pendant lamp VL45 Radiohus is the comeback of the Radiohus lamp by Vilhelm Lauritzen, who designed and conceived the simple pendulum in cooperation with 'Louis Poulsen' already in the 1940s.

As a commission for the Danish radio building 'Radiohus' in Copenhagen, the architect created a lampshade of hand-blown glass. Whole three layers of glass are layered with great care and craftsmanship. Outside and inside a shiny clear glass and in the middle a soft opal glass. Paired with an equally simple brass suspension, this became the pendant lamp that is still very popular in private homes today.

The 'VL45' shines in an even and soft light. The opening at the bottom focuses the internal brightness and directs it directly downward.

The three different sizes can also be combined with each other.
