Mynt High with a 4-star base and glides by Vitra

The Mynt High counter chair is designed for use at high tables and counters. At its core is a patented mechanism that tilts forward or backward depending on the user’s weight distribution and position—the seat moves independently of the backrest. The resistance to movement automatically adjusts to the user’s weight; only the height needs to be adjusted. The elegant footrest provides additional support and comfort. The seat and backrest are available in natural oak and dark walnut veneers or in recycled polyamide made from 100% post-industrial material. They can be swapped out regardless of the material. There is a five-star base as well as a four-star base, where you can switch between glides and casters—Mynt meets all relevant office standards with every variant. Upholstered covers are available for the seat and backrest. The “V-Foam” PU foam used in the seat cushion was developed by Vitra in collaboration with BASF and is the world’s first polyurethane foam that can be recycled economically; the backrest cushion is filled with polyester wadding. The two upholstery elements can be easily removed via a zipper for cleaning or replacement. This keeps Mynt High looking fresh and allows it to be adapted to new needs whenever desired.
