Folding chair SE 18

Another great design by Egon Eiermann, which decorates my online shop from today. I am pretty sure that one or the other of you has already sat on it.

The folding chair SE 18 convinces with its minimalistic, organic, ergonomically solid construction. On top of that, the chair is extremely functional and takes up very little space when folded and put aside.

Since 1953 in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, 1955 in the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm, 1958 at the World Exhibition in Brussels, it has maintained its place in the history of design. After more than 60 years, it has also passed the practical test convincingly and has lost none of its original charm.
