Chair 'Mogensen 3236'

When Børge Mogensen was appointed head of design at 'Fredericia' in 1955, he was asked to design a completely new furniture collection. One of the first results was the introduction of the chair 3236 in 1956.

With its solid, simplified construction, the '3236 Chair' reflects Mogensen's preference for working with refined yet rustic, natural materials. Add to this his eye for perfect proportions.

The robust dimensions of the chair's spokes and legs give it a sturdy, robust expression that allows for hours of sitting.
