It's a strong piece I picked out for you today from the house of Fredericia: At first glance, it immediately reveals a lot of Danish design tradition.
What I find remarkable about the Danish classics is that they come across as absolutely timeless. Or would you have thought that the 'J39' was already designed in 1947?
None other than Børge Mogensen created this versatile masterpiece in solid wood with a hand-woven seat made of natural paper cord. Everything is just right here and I would like to give Mr Mogensen the most beautiful wreath for this light design, which is also incredibly comfortable.
You can choose from different types of wood and colours. I personally like the black oak version. Here the contrast to the light-coloured seat is particularly wonderful.
