Harry Bertoia's delicate industrial side chair is one of the most recognized achievements of mid-century modern design. Like Saarinen and Mies, Bertoia found a sublime grace in an industrial material and elevated it beyond its normal utility to a work of art / The frame is a welded steel construction / The seat cushions have fabric edges and are attached to the chair with press studs. The non-upholstered side chairs made of Rilsan are also suitable for outdoor use.
