From the venerable chambers of 'Horgenglarus', I have the pleasure of showing you a new collection of furniture that bridges the gap between the design of today and the fine craftsmanship of the 1920s.
Seley' is the result of a collaboration with the Swiss designer Frédéric Dedelley, who based his design on the construction principle that revolutionized Horgenglarus in the last century.
The simple bench of the series has a stable base that ensures wobble-free sitting, even under heavy loads. This means that the bench can sit at the table as well as stand freely in the room. For example in the bedroom, where it provides a cosy place to sit during the day and at night it serves as a shelf for the bedspread and the many cushions.
The fact that the workmanship of the bench has been brought to perfection and convinces with seamless quality is something I don't really have to mention when I hear the name 'Horgenglarus'. Nevertheless, the capable makers in the manufactory deserve to hear it: You're great!
